SUSHI CHAN / PHOTOGRAPHER

Sushi Chan is a self-taught film photographer based in Hong Kong and has received an award from Lomography’s photography competition. Influenced by the study of international relations she has an interest in differing ideologies, particularly retro-futurism which she believes it to allow people to look backwards and forwards and to examine old myths and fantasies against contemporary reality. In align with her interests, she has been obsessed with the future technology - artificial intelligent and robotics. Meanwhile, she wallows in nostalgia for the past as she believes the past is a way to guide us towards the future. Her works will be exhibited at Sense 99, 2/F 99F Wellington Street in Central from Mar 03 – Mar 31, 2019.
