How to spend our last day in Athens?
Having spent a week in Greece, I have had a consistent week of greek food - grilled octopus, pita gyros, souvlaki, kebab, fresh salads...We would like to find a cafe where we could sit comfortably to write postcards to take a refreshing break from our adventures.
A visit to Philos café Athens has fulfilled and beyond my expectation. Based on the ranking from tripadvisor, it just ranked #327 of 3,042 Restaurants in Athens, obviously it is not a famous instagrammable cafe. And yet, it is definitely my cup of “cafe” for a leisurely brunch in the center of Athens.
Located in a neoclassical building in Kolonaki, I was so impressed with its elegant and industrial design. Every corner is so photogenic. I like their marble walls and good use of big windows that let the sunlight light up the space.
Food is delicious, cooked with healthy ingredient. We had the egg benedict and mixed berries pancakes. believe me, they taste as good as they look.
