A Cafe that makes me feel like home!

Updated: Aug 11, 2019

💎 Greensaso, Niseko, Japan

With this being the first hidden gem sharing of my blog, I want to share my number 1 cafe. I enjoyed my time at Greensaso because it wasn’t just about the matcha food/tea (it was delicious for sure), it was about how friendly and cozy the cafe was.

I still remember it was having a massive snow storm that our snowboarding class had been cancelled. We found this cafe randomly on a travel guide book in our hotel. As a passionate “matchaholic”, the snow storm couldn't stop us for matcha (be adventure, always.). Even though we got lost, we finally made it and it didn't disappoint us.

We were welcomed by the host and their fluffy lovely poodle, Nupuri. The cafe is very warm in a relaxed and cozy setting. We ordered a matcha sundae with their homemade matcha ice cream and also a yuzu green tea.

Aside from having tasty matcha sweets, we had a pleasant conversation with the cafe host. The host shared their love story, the story & concept of their food with us.

They offer a variety of Japanese green teas from various tea plantations around japan and their teas consist of high quality leaves which are produced using 100% organic or very low chemical usage growing methods.

Good choice to take a break after snowboarding in Niseko.
